Last week was challenging. As we monitor the changing conditions brought on by the Coronavirus/COVID-19, we encourage everyone to stay safe, practice social distancing, wash your hands, and above all else, be compassionate. In some ways, panic and fear have gripped our community, and the only way to meet it is with compassion.
The Collective’s team has been able to work remotely during this time and is staying as healthy as possible. We are able to take remote meetings through Zoom and can answer any inquiries.
Additionally, we are postponing all of our upcoming in-person events this month and next until the state of emergency subsides. This means that Thirsty Thursday on March 19, and April’s Get The Grant event in Santa Fe from April 15-17, are both postponed, until further notice. We’ll still host webinars and online chats when scheduled. For Capacity Builders Breakfast on April 3rd, we host a virtual gathering.
Those who have already made reservations for Get The Grant, you are welcome to keep your reservations until we announce the rescheduled date, or you can contact Robert at email@example.com for a refund.
And just to be clear, the pandemic is no excuse to be racist. Many in our Asian American/Pacific Islander community have experienced racist incidents in the last week, which is unacceptable. We call on you to take a stand when possible and meet hatred with compassion.
Lastly, for our members, we are still available through our Online Platform. We’ll continue to post updates on funding opportunities, share resources, chat about grants topics, and connect with our online community as much as possible.
Below are links to local resources, just in case. Stay safe and healthy, and we’ll see you soon!
