Aug 2, Brown Bag Lunch

This month we welcome Jennifer Riordan, Vice President of Community Relations at Wells Fargo Bank, to discuss the company’s generous corporate giving program of over $2.3 million (NM, El Paso and Greater TX). She will share information on current grant making priorities and some changes that might be on the horizon, and details on Wells Fargo’s volunteerism and community involvement efforts. Bring your lunch and gather at our office at 901 Rio Grande Blvd NW, Suite D-220 from 12pm to 1pm.

Aug 8 & Aug 30, Curbside Consulting

This month we’re bringing you TWO sessions for Curbside Consulting! Have you ever needed more eyes on your current grant projects? Network members can come to our office for a free consultation and we’ll match you with expert advice to talk about your project.

Curbside Consulting is also a great time to get a hands-on demonstration of the Online Platform – designed to make grant seeking easier for you! Let us know you’re coming and we’ll give you a tutorial to see if the platform will help you achieve your grant seeking goals.

Consultations occur Aug 8 from 1pm-3pm and Aug 30 from 11am-1 pm at The Grants Collective’s office at 901 Rio Grande Blvd NW, Suite D-220.

August 23, Training

Mark your calendar for the morning of August 23! A trainer from Grants.Gov is coming to discuss federal grant seeking and its new Workspace platform! This is a great opportunity to learn first hand the new platform, as the “legacy” version will be obsolete as of December 31. The session will be held at Center for Nonprofit Excellence – New MexicoTickets are $35 for the session and free to members of the Network. Contact Robert for the access code if you’re a member at

Talent Academy Application Open
