What’s Happening

July 10 Reading Circle

For Reading Circle in July, we’re reading A Field Guide to Lies: Critical Thinking in the Information Age. In the Information Age, there is so much information that we now need to learn and discern what’s factual, important, relevant, in order to be media literate and make informed decisions. You can find a copy at our local library or follow the link above for purchase. Join us at our office at 11am! (Note: the Re-print edition goes under the title Weaponized Lies: How to Think Critically in the Post-Truth Era.)

July 12, Brown Bag Lunch

You may have heard that the McCune Charitable Foundation has revised its grant making strategies, which will affect the upcoming grant cycle that is open from August 15 – September 15. We’ll have a discussion on what’s changed, how that might affect your organization, and opportunities to work together. Watching the 1.5 hour webinar prior to the Brown Bag is a good idea (but not necessary to participate in the discussion) and available here: http://bit.ly/JulyBBag.  Bring your lunch and gather at our office at 901 Rio Grande Blvd NW, Suite D-220 from 12pm to 1pm.

July 26, Curbside Consulting

Ever needed more eyes on your current grant projects? Working through a logic model? Come down to our office for a free consultation and we’ll match you with expert advice to talk about your project. Consultations occur from 11am to 1pm at The Grants Collective’s office at 901 Rio Grande Blvd NW, Suite D-220.

And Coming Up!
