Talent Academy Begins

Last week, our most recent Talent Academy began. This marks the fourth cohort of the Academy in the last three years. We’re excited to work with the new group and we’ll be introducing each of them very soon!  


9/6 First Friday Capacity Builders Breakfast 8:30a-10a
Capacity building organizations are invited to bring their breakfast and join us at The Grants Collective to discuss their work, get to know each other or reconnect, and stay up to date on each others’ efforts. We plan to host this the first Friday of each month to provide an ongoing opportunity to connect. We hope you are able to join us!

Whether you are a seasoned nonprofit leader or you’re just getting started, this book provides helpful insights into what makes a sustainable organization. The author uses a model to describe a holistic approach to sustainability. This book contains many tips and tools that readers can use right away. Join us for our next Brown Bag Lunch for a fun and interactive workshop about “Life as a Cultural Attaché for our New Galactic Overlords: A Mini Workshop in Writing Short Explanations of Complex Things.” This will be a hands-on writing exercise hosted by Aly Sanchez of The Grant Plant. This event is free for members and $10 for non-members.​

The program provides a centralized location to obtain financing from start to completion for projects that will help with job creation efforts and assist small business development.
