The Grants Collective is now Pivotal New Mexico

Welcome to the first official Pivotal New Mexico monthly newsletter! 

As many of you know, last month we rebranded and relaunched as Pivotal New Mexico. You’ve probably noticed the new logo and website and now we’re adding new elements to our Cooperative Network to provide better support to our members.

One of these features is our new chat function! Monday-Friday (except on federal holidays), 10am-4pm MST, members of our Cooperative Network will be able to chat with our team on our members site and receive immediate answers to questions you may have.
 

2020 Talent Academy Application Open!

Amidst this pandemic and the new challenges we face every day, our organizations and communities are depending on us to develop successful grant applications. Take an hour and apply for our 2020 Talent Academy to learn best practices for writing the strongest applications for federal, state, and other funding. Applications are due by Thursday, July 17!

Reflections on June.

This June, organizations and communities across New Mexico were facing challenge after challenge: civil rights protests, continued social distancing, cancellation of Pride events, and reduced fundraising opportunities.

To help with these changes, we’re offering a few resources.

Check out our COVID-19 resources page, a collaboration with our partners at The Grant Plant and 501(C)PA. Here you can find grant opportunities, information, and other resources to help your organization get through these tough days.
Also this month, we’re launching our Equity in the Land of Enchantment series where we connect you to the resources you need to support diverse voices and ensure they are part of your organization. If you’re a member, check out our first piece from Robert Nelson called Making a Statement. We’ll have this on our Facebook page publicly later this week.

Our First Friday Capacity Builder’s Breakfast is delayed until next month due to Independence Day, but we invite you to join us for some of our upcoming events to collaborate with our team and find out how we can help you strengthen your grant applications and your organization!
