Spotlight On Our Community – August 2018

Cooperative Network Spotlight

We love to highlight members and community stakeholders in our Cooperative Network and showcase their great work across the community!  This month, we highlight one of the Collective’s Board members, Debi Randall.

SHARE New Mexico is New Mexico’s largest, most up-to-date and comprehensive community information website. SHARE is for individuals and organizations who are working to improve quality of life for New Mexicans. Built by and for New Mexicans to share information and resources and support collaboration for change, SHARE is your trusted resource for information. SHARE listens, learns, and works closely with community partners, funders, and policy-makers across the state to identify new content and functionality. As a fellow capacity builder for New Mexico organizations, SHARE and the Collective have worked hard to support each other while not duplicating services.

Debi Randall is the Executive Director for SHARE New Mexico and a current Board Member for the Collective. We are thrilled with her recent announcement that she will become Wells Fargo’s Community Relations Consultant this September. Her depth of corporate background, project management skills, and visioning — she was at PNM for 25 years — is sure to benefit the nonprofit community in her new role with her knack for business acumen and discipline in the nonprofit sector.

In honor of our partnership with SHARE New Mexico and Debi’s leadership, we are offering a limited time special offer on our Annual Membership!  Scroll to the bottom of this email to find out more and join the Cooperative Network today!

“I honestly love The Grants Collective. I think it’s an amazing resource to help New Mexico nonprofits grow. Grant writing is a skill and an art, and bringing in new money from outside New Mexico is a valuable proposition.”

Debi holds 25 years’ experience at PNM Resources in Albuquerque where she was instrumental in strategic planning and implementing employee communication plans. She also worked with investors and analysts on Wall Street, and managed merger and acquisition activities for the company. In 2008, Debi was the co-chair for PNM’s United Way campaign and helped raise over $1.2M. She is a Fellow with the W.K. Kellogg Foundation and is passionate about making New Mexico a better place to live, work and play.
